There have been 22,361 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 80 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 28,082 new cases and 70 more victims Tuesday.
Some 188,024 more tests have been done, compared to 233,553
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is down from 12% to 11.8%.
Intensive care cases are down 20 to 199, and hospital admissions
down 46 to 4,296.
The currently positive are 628,995, down 18 on Tuesday.
The recovered and discharged are 16,769,897, up 22,827 on
Tuesday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 17,566,061,
and the death toll 167,169.
