A 38-year-old Brazilian man was sent
to trial Wednesday on suspicion of stalking a 25-year-old Roan
woman he had met on Facebook.
Police said the friendship born on the social media platform had
turned into a "nightmare" for the alleged victim, who became the
object of "morbid attention and in one case a physical attack"
by the man.
A Rome preliminary hearings judge (GUP) indicted the man.
The trial, for stalking, will start in the autumn.
