Two planes touched wings while parking
on a runway at Milan's Malpensa Airport Monday but no one was
hurt.
The planes, a Delta Airlines just touched down from New York and
A320 EasyJet gearing to lift off for Tel Aviv, came into contact
at the airport's Satellite Nord, suffering slight damage which
did not affect their operational capabilities.
Airport management company SEA said there had probably been an
error in assigning parking spaces.
The Delta craft took off again while the Easy Jet plane took on
passengers after a three-hour delay.
