NATO Secretary-General Jens
Stoltenberg said Wednesday that "Italy is a NATO ally of great
value, it contributes to our collective defence in many ways.
"I have recently been to Romania where I met the Italian pilots
who are helping keep NATO's air space safe and secure.
"They are showing commitment and strength in their contribution
to several operations, also in Kosovo, where Italy has been a
fundamental ally for many years".
