A suspect has been detained in
relation to the murder of Dario Angeletti, a university
professor found dead on Tuesday in his car in the city of
Tarquinia, north of Rome, sources said on Thursday.
An autopsy will confirm whether Angeletti, a lecturer at the
Università della Tuscia and a well-known figure in the province
of Viterbo, was killed by a wound to the head, apparently caused
by a firearm.
Investigators are said to be focusing on the private sphere of
Angeletti's life in relation to the case rather than the
professional one.
The suspect was taken to hospital as he suffered a bad turn
after being detained, the sources said.
