The Senate on Wednesday approved an
amendment envisaging vaccinations in pharmacies. The measures
was presented by Forza Italia Senator Andrea Mandelli, who is
head of the pharmacists' guild, and taken up by the vaccine
decree's rapporteur Patrizia Manassero of the ruling centre-left
Democratic Party. The government decree makes 10 vaccinations
compulsory for school admission. Another amendment passed
Wednesday makes it possible to book vaccinations in pharmacies
across Italy.
