At least three people were
injured on Tuesday in an explosion at an apartment in the
Garbatella area of Rome.
The blast, which occurred inside an apartment on the first
floor of a building in Via Magnaghi, was likely caused by a gas
leak while a gas meter was being replaced.
The two technicians who were working in the apartment are
reportedly in serious condition.
Firefighters and police are securing the scene.
