It is "very dangerous" to set a
civil-service managerial ceiling of 240,000 euros, the president
of RAI State broadcaster Monica Maggioni told the parliamentary
RAI oversight commission on Wednesday after the RAI board
approved regulations on wages. She said "a virtuous line was
identified which meets the hybrid nature of RAI with few, very
few top figures with salaries consistent with the market". The
board earlier approved the 240,000-euro ceiling set by
parliament but said there could be a few exceptions earning
more.
