A preliminary hearings judge
on Thursday sentenced photographer Furio Fusco, 51, to 11 years
six months in jail for luring aspiring models including underage
girls to his studio and inducing them to pose for pornographic
shoots with promises of a career in show business.
The prosecutor had asked for a sentence of 16 years 4
months.
Police investigating the case allegedly found hundreds of
child pornography photos on Fusco's mobile phone.
The photos showed Fusco persuaded girls as young as 13 to
pose for pornographic shoots, investigators said.
