Anti-mafia police on Tuesday
seized 11 million euros of assets from a former businessman with
close ties to the Neapolitan Camorra crime syndicate.
Francesco Grassia, 70, provided logistical support to
members of the infamous Casalesi clan based in Caserta,
allegedly collecting protection money and investing the income
and importing weapons from the former Yugoslavia.
He was arrested in 2000.
