A man was arrested Monday at
Carinaro near Naples for allegedly encouraging his wife to try
to commit suicide.
Police stopped the woman from throwing herself off a
balcony Sunday night.
She had previously thrown herself off in October 2012 when
she was seriously hurt and had to have her spleen removed.
On that occasion, police said, the man egged her on.
Both suicide attempts took place after violent domestic
arguments, police said.
