Judicial sources on
Tuesday confirmed that a 35-year-old suspect has confessed to
the murder of a family in their home in the town of Tempio
Pausania on the island of Sardinia.
Angelo Frigeri, who reportedly changed his version of
events several times during interrogations Monday, was described
by police as a friend of the family who had keys to their home
because he was doing some repair work there.
Giovanni Maria Azzena, his wife Giulia Zanzani, and their
son Pietro, 12, were found dead in their home Saturday night.
Police had said the couple likely knew their killer and
were beaten before they were killed.
Their son was strangled to death.

clothing and shoes near their home.
