(ANSA) - Milan, August 12 - The United States pavilion at Milan Expo says it broke its one-day visitor record on Tuesday, hosting 34,000 visitors in a single day.
In the first 10 days of August, the pavilion has seen a visitor increase of 47% on July figures.
"We are thrilled and honored to see a substantial trend of growth in visitors at the USA Pavilion," said Douglas T. Hickey, US pavilion commissioner general.
"Part of our success is due to the physical structure of the pavilion, which maximizes our ability to host visitors and enables guests to experience compelling and engaging stories and solutions addressing the global challenge of feeding nine billion people by 2050".
