The Bank of Italy on Friday revised
downwards further to 0.6% its GDP growth estimate for 2024 due
to "signs of more prolonged economic weakness".
In October it put the estimated growth forecast for next year at
0.8%.
Italy's central bank also said the economy would grow by 1.1% in
2025 and 2026 "due to the assumptions inferred by the financial
markets of slightly lower interest rates".
