Italian producer prices rose 10.7% in
2021, the biggest rise since 2000, ISTAT said Friday.
This compared to a 3.4% drop in 2020, the statistics agency
said.
Production prices rose 0.8% in December on a monthly basis and
by 22.6% on an annual basis, ISTAT added.
The 2021 gain was composed of a 12.9% increase in the domestic
market and a 4.9% one on the external market.
Barring energy, prices rose by 5.1%.
