The second day of a BTP Italia
bond placement was another flop with only 241.3 million euros'
worth sold, sources said Tuesday.
On the first day Monday the inflation-linked bond only raised
481 million euros, the worst debut since 2012 and the second
worst since the Treasury started issuing this type of bond.
The government bond aimed at savers is seeing unusually weak
demand amid a spike in Italy's bond spread.
