Premier Matteo Renzi said
Tuesday that a raft of measures to implement his ambitious
'Industry 4.0' programme would be "formally ratified" for
inclusion in the 2017 budget by October 20. "We're working in
this direction," he said. Renzi said last week that his
government's Industry 4.0 national stimulus plan could turn
Italy into "the land of opportunity". The plan consists of a mix
of tax breaks and other incentives as well as measures to make
sure all startups and businesses have access to the Internet.
