Italian industrial turnover
increased by 2.1% in July with respect to June but orders
dropped by 10.8%, Istat said on Tuesday.
The national statistics agency stressed, however, that
the drop was mainly determined by the fact that June was an
"exceptionally high" month for industrial orders, especially in
the ship-building industry.
Orders were up 14.3% in June with respect to May.
