Italy's domestic car market grew
14.54% in July over the same month last year with 131.489 new
car registrations, the transport ministry said Monday.
There were 1,005,409 deliveries in the first seven months
of the year, up 15.19% over the same period last year.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) beat the market to post
gains of 19.33% in July registrations over the same period last
year.
FCA delivered 285,606 new cars in the first seven months of
the year, up 17.35% over the same period in 2014.
FCA market share rose from 27.88% to 28.41% in the period,
the carmaker said.
