There was a full-blown gunfight
between robbers and security guards in the Roma Est shopping
centre during a robbery at a jewellery store in the Roman mall
on Wednesday, local sources said.
From an initial police reconstruction, it seems that a security
guard fired back at the robbers who had sprayed the building
with gunfire.
No injuries were reported despite the fact that the shopping
centre is particularly busy at the moment due to the summer
sales that started last Saturday and run until the end of
August.
