The mother of a 13-year-old girl who
gave birth to a baby found dead last Sunday inside a rucksack
abandoned among the rocks at Villa San Giovanni near Reggio
Calabria has been arrested on charges of murder, judicial
sources said Wednesday.
Investigators and detectives have not, at the moment, provided
more details on the developments in the investigation that led
to the arrest of the woman and that followed, in particular, the
results of the autopsy performed on the infant's body.
