Premier Giorgia Meloni had a
telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of
Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on Wednesday, who confirmed he
will be at the G7 summit in Puglia on June 13-15, the premier's
office said.
"In view of the G7 Summit, the conversation also allowed to take
stock of the state of bilateral relations and the main
international crisis scenarios", Palazzo Chigi said.
"The Prime Minister," the communiqué read, "took the opportunity
to thank her interlocutor for having confirmed his participation
at Borgo Egnazia".
