Life Is Beautiful Oscar winner
Roberto Benigni will read a monologue alongside Pope Francis at
a ceremony in St Peter's Square marking World Children's Day on
Sunday May 26, the Vatican said Thursday.
Madcap Tuscan comic and director Benigni, a practising Catholic,
will recite the monologue after the Regina Coeli (Queen of
Heaven) blessing, it said.
"This is an unprecedented event," it said.
