Inter boss Simone Inzaghi on Monday
received the 13th annual Enzo Bearzot Prize named after Italy's
legendary 1982 World Cup-winning coach.
After leading Inter to victory in the Italian Cup and reaching
the Champions League final last term, Inzaghi is close to
clinching this season's Serie A title with his men.
With six games to go, they are 14 points clear at the top of the
table and victory over AC Milan in next week's derby would seal
the scudetto.
"We are close to the goal we dreamed of and which we said we
were aiming for from the start, aware that many did not predict
us to run out winners," Inzaghi said at the awards ceremony at
the Italian Olympic Committee's headquarters in Rome.
"We want to win it as soon as possible.
"I have a solid squad and club, as well as wonderful fans who
are always at our side on this journey".
