Premier Giorgia Meloni said Wednesday
the government would rule for its full allotted five years and
that she would not let Italians down.
"We have in front of is a horizon of (finishing) the legislative
term, five years," she said in an interview with Chi magazine
out Wednesday.
"This is our strength, but also the element that charges us with
the greatest responsibility towards the citizens.
"Because we feel, more than others, the burden of certain
choices and the expectation that the Italians have of us.
"Here, perhaps this is the human element that I would like to
emphasise: the Italians expect a lot from me and I do not intend
to disappoint them".
