Graffiti reading "Nazi slaves,
traitors of the people" was daubed on the walls of the Brescia
offices of the CGIL trade union overnight.
The act of vandalism was carried out at around midnight by a
person whose face was covered.
Video-surveillance cameras filmed the incident.
Anti-vax groups may have been behind the graffiti, investigative
sources said.
The left-wing union has been targetted by groups opposed to
COVID vaccines and the restrictions imposed at the height of the
pandemic in the past.
The CGIL's Rome headquarters were ransacked by in October 2021
by far-right militants during a protest against the COVID-19
Green Pass health certificate.
