Premier Giorgia Meloni wants to boost
Italy's cooperation with Egypt, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's
spokesman said after a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of he
CoP27 summit in Egypt Monday.
Meloni "stated Italy's will to strengthen bilateral cooperation
with Egypt, in such a way as to open constructive horizons and
achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries and
peoples" said Ambassador Bassam Radi in a message to ANSA.
This is because, he said, "Egypt considers Italy and the
European continent as a bulwark of security and stability in the
Middle East and the Mediterranean".
