A charred body found in the boot of a
burnt-out car near Brescia Monday was identified Tuesday as that
of a 40-year-old Kosovaran with a record for drug offences.
An autopsy to establish cause of death will be performed Tuesday
afternoon.
Police think the man may have been killed elsewhere and driven
to Cologne where the vehicle was torched.
A drugs turf war between Kosovo-born gangs is suspected.
The car belonged to a 34-year-old foreigner, police said.
The man said the Range Rover had been stolen, but he had decided
not to report the theft of the vehicle.
