Italian salaries dropped by 8.3% in
real terms between 2010 and 2020, according to a study released
by research institute Censis and the UGL trade union on Friday.
The report also highlighted the problem of in-work poverty in
Italy.
It said 13.2% of employed workers and 7.6% of the self-employed
had earnings below the poverty threshold in 2020, compared to
10.2% and 5.2% respectively in 2010.
