A 33-year-old Ghanaian goat herder employed by Ethiopian goat farmer and Italian integration symbol Agitu Ideo Gudeta got 20 years in jail for her December 2020 rape and murder on her Trentino holding Monday.
The man, Suleiman Adams, was sentenced to 15 years and eight months for murder and four years and four months for sexual violence.
The 42-year-old 'Queen of Happy Goats' was raped and murdered by the seasonal worker she had hired at Frassilongo in Trentino on December 29, 2020.
    Adams confessed to the crimes.
Agiutu was an ethnic Oromo farmer, entrepreneur, and environmentalist who immigrated to Italy after experiencing conflict due to her political activism against land grabbing by the Ethiopian military for international corporations.
She established a goat farming operation using the indigenous breed Pezzata Mòchena to produce dairy and beauty products.
Gudeta became a national symbol of environmentalism and successful refugee integration into Italian society, hailed by the press and politicians.
