Thousands of doses of street-ready
cocaine were found stashed in Rome's most famous cemetery,
police said Thursday.
Almost 110,000 doses, and a stolen handgun, were found in the
tombs at the historic Verano monumental graveyard.
Scales for measuring the drugs and material for making up the
doses were also found in the oldest part of the iconic cemetery.
A 42-year-old Roman marble worker was arrested for allegedly
hiding the drugs.
