In Savona

(ANSA) - Savona, October 10 - A new plaque commemorating the Fascist Black Shirt militia who died in WWII along with other war dead was found smashed in two in Savona cemetery when council workers arrived to remove it Wednesday morning.
The inclusion of the Fascist militia along with the other fallen had caused a row.
The plaque was going to be taken to a lab for the removal of the Black Shirt names.
But it was found removed from its place on the wall and smashed in two on the ground.
