Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni on Friday described the United Nations proposal to Libya's warring factions for a national unity government after lengthy talks as a big step forward. "I'm satisfied at the results achieved overnight by the delegations," Gentiloni said. "It's an important step in the path towards the creation of a government of national unity. "Now it's fundamentally important that the parties approve the deal reached last night and go on to sign the agreement. "Italy will continue to support that next stages in the process towards peace and stability in Libya".
