(ANSA-AP) - Bauchi (Nigeria), June 22 - At least 30 people
died Monday when two girls blew themselves up near a crowded
mosque in northeast Nigeria's biggest city.
This is the fourth suicide bombing this month in Maiduguri,
the birthplace of the Boko Haram Islamic extremist insurgency.
Eyewitnesses say one teen exploded as she approached the
mosque crowded with people praying during the holy month of
Ramadan.
The second teenager appeared to run away and blew up
further away, killing only herself, eyewitnesses said.
