Italian bishops' chief Cardinal
Angelo Bagnasco said Friday that having parents of the same sex
was "a true paradox with incalculable psychological and
relational consequences".
Bagnasco cited the proposal to remove Mother's and Father's
day from nursery school calendars in deference to same-sex
couples, egg donors and surrogates as "a concern that comes from
systematic dissemination" of the "ideology of gender".
Bagnasco was speaking at a Rome conference entitled
"Science & Life".
