Italian Premier Matteo Renzi
had a long telephone conversation on Monday with Egyptian
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to discuss the war on terrorism
and the situation in Libya, a government statement said. The
leaders talked about the political and diplomatic steps to be
taken at the United Nations Security Council to restore peace
and security to the North African country. Renzi expressed his
condolences and solidarity to Sisi after a number of Egyptian
Coptic Christians were murdered by ISIS in Libya.
