'Russian embargo costing Italy 200 mn a year' says minister

Food and agriculture exports to Russia down, Martina tells EP

(ANSA) - Brussels, September 3 - Russia's embargo on European food and agriculture products is costing Italy an estimated 200 million euros a year, Agriculture Minister Maurizio Martina told the European Parliament on Wednesday.
Russia applied the embargo in early August, after the EU imposed sanctions in response to its annexation of Ukraine's Crimea peninsula in March.
