(ANSA) - London, November 22 - Winning all his matches in the
Ryder Cup was "the highest point" in a glittering year that saw
Francesco Molinari also win the British Open and the European
Tour, the Piedmont-born golfer told ANSA Thursday.
Molinari said the Ryder win had been "a unique emotion",
higher than winning the Race to Dubai or the Open.
"The Ryder Cup has a special fascination, you have a chance
to get to know better players who are otherwise opponents.
"My life has not changed, beyond the greater media exposure.
Asked about Rome hosting the Ryder Cup in 2022, he said "it
is a great opportunity for our country, I hope the organisation
is able to valorise our identity".
