In the Christian journey
there is "no saint without a past or sinner without a future",
Pope Francis said on Tuesday.
During the course of his life King David "did many things
that were good and many things that were not so good", the pope
said during Mass at the Santa Marta guesthouse in the Vatican
where he resides.
"He was able to unite the kingdom and lead the people of
Israel, but he had his temptations… he had his sins: he was also
a murderer," Francis continued, underlining the need to ask
forgiveness.
