Cortina d'Ampezzo has landed the
2021 world skiing championships.
Meeting in Cancun, the International Ski federation (FIS)
voted unanimously to award the championships to the Italian
Dolomites town, which was bidding for the fifth time.
The Cortina championships will follow those at St. Moritz in
2017 and Are in Sweden in 2019, and will come a year before the
Winter Olympics in Beijing.
