Juventus boss Massimiliano
Allegri was named Monday as the winner of the Golden Bench
(Panchina d'Oro) award for the best Serie A coach of the
2014-2015 season.
He won the prize with the votes of 27 out of 51 of his
colleagues.
Last term Allegri led Juve to a Serie A-Italian Cup double
and took them to the final of the Champions League against
Barcelona in his debut campaign in Turin.
They are currently three points clear at the top of Serie
A and have also reached this season's Italian Cup final.
Frosinone's Roberto Stellone won the Silver Bench prize
for the best Serie B coach after leading his team to promotion
to the top flight.
