compensate hundreds of people harmed by infected blood in
transfusions, a Rome civil appeals court ruled Tuesday,
rejecting an appeal from the ministry against a 2006 sentence.
A separate court will decided on damages, which are likely to be
at least 30 million euros, sources said.
