Italian police on Thursday arrested
15 people in a probe into suspected graft on municipal contracts
at Guidonia near Rome.
Police said they had broken up a "criminal gang devoted for a
long time to crimes against the public administration".
Council managers, officials and businessmen were among those
arrested, 12 of whom went to jail and three were placed under
house arrest.
