The government on Tuesday said it
would table a confidence vote on its bill to reform Italy's
criminal justice system. Among other things, the reform aims to
make the cost of wiretapping uniform. Senate Speaker Pietro
Grasso said he would call a whips' conference to table the vote.
The confidence vote is expected to take place later this week.
