Premier Paolo Gentiloni said it
is not up to him to decide how long his government lasts amid
talk of early elections before the end of the parliamentary term
next year. "By definition, the duration of the government is not
decided by the head of the government," Gentiloni told a press
conference. "It's up to parliament, the president and the
dialectic between political parties, which I look upon with
utmost respect".
