Premier Matteo Renzi said
Thursday said victory belongs to those who don't give up and who
focus on job creation, not ideology. "Today I visited the Alfa
Romeo plant in Cassino, where 4,300 workers are back in
production and another 1,800 will get hired in the next 18
months," Renzi wrote on Facebook. "It's easy to complain...and
criticize. But the Fiat Chrysler story proves more and more with
every passing day that the winners are those who didn't give up
in the face of criticism and vetoes. Those who placed job
creation and Italy - not ideology - center stage. This applies
to everyone, from (Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio) Marchionne to the
trade unionists who believed in it".
