Four amendments to a tax
decree linked to the government's 2017 draft budget were
rejected by Lower House committees on Wednesday.
The rejected amendments regarded the liquidation of the
company set up to organise Milan Expo 2015, financing for the
2020 Ryder Cup near Rome, money for the city of Lecce and a
contribution for the troubled ILVA steelworks in Taranto.
A separate amendment that has been presented that gives
more time for people to settle debts with the taxman as part of
the scrapping of the Equitalia agency.
