Prosecutors on Thursday
requested that former Rome mayor Ignazio Marino be handed a jail
term of three years, one month and 10 days for alleged
fraudulent use of his city credit card while he was first
citizen. Marino is accused of misappropriation, fraud and giving
false statements in a case also concerning consultancy payments
made to his Imagine NGO.
