Politicians who preceded him
"ate in the restaurant and left the bill," Premier Matteo Renzi
said Tuesday. "And I'm not going to lave it to our children and
grandchildren to pay," he said. "Spain is growing by 3%," he
went on. "But it has a deficit of 5%, which in Italy would be
worth some 50 billion euros. If they gave me 50 billion euros to
give to citizens or cut taxes, I too would have a growth of 3%".
