Delrio said Thursday after a Puglia train crash on a single
track that killed 23. "If the Region has to discuss with
Brussels for four years whether a plan is OK or not it is clear
that things aren't working," he said. "There has been a lot of
talk about delays in doubling the track," he said. "It's a
question of regional funds which the Region discusses with
Europe directly, we (the government) are not involved".
